Two couples in our family had an overnight stay at Malanda Lodge and both were very impressed. The 2 rooms were very clean and modern and the bed was comfortable. The gardens were well maintained and the complimentary continental breakfast was very fresh and ample. The staff were very friendly too. We would definitely stay again here. 5 stars
Malanda Lodge is such great value for money, family friendly and the service was impeccable. Set in the heart of a beautiful area, on beautiful grounds with a pop that blends beautifully into its surrounds. The rooms and amenities are well maintained, with the bathrooms offering a spacious shower and hair drying facilities. The continental breakfast offered a great variety. Our children (3 and 6) thoroughly enjoyed their stay, with the pool and breakfast a highlight. We requested an early check in, and the reception staff were very hospitable in offering our daughter coloring, use of the pool, fruit and water whilst she waited, she was so so kind. The restaurant was closed given it was New Years Day, however Ben directed us to takeaway pizzas at the Malanda Hotel which were delicious and close by. Will definitely return when we’re in the area.
A wonderful lodge/motel in beautiful Malanda. Excellent value. Very clean rooms- grounds immaculately cared for and a great pool. The complimentary breakfast is a fabulous bonus. I cant speak highly enough of the staff and the accommodation-and its so affordable too.|Do yourself a favour- stay here!
We were so impressed by the service and rooms. When finding out we had a 5.30am start after arriving at 8pm, the friendly guy at reception gave us some fancy coffee sachets as we wouldn't be there for the complimentary breakfast. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean and tidy and had all modern technology. We will definitely be staying with these guys everytime we are in the area. Attended a wedding here, the grounds were beautiful and extremely well tended and the staff were so helpful and amazing. The bride requested a specific drink, and they didn't have any on hand, but assured us they could get some within 20 minutes, and that it was no problem. And they did! They also nutbushed with us, so +10 for that.
How delightful. What a gorgeous location. Spotlessly clean and excellent service. The contentanial breakfast was a lovely unexpected extra. We will definitely stay here again. We can't recommend the Malanda Lodge highly enough.
This place is an exceptional motel with very neat and clean rooms. The grounds are well-landscaped and pleasant. Furthermore, they put on a good buffet breakfast for guests. A very good option for travellers in the tablelands.
The rooms and breakfast exceeded expectations. Beautiful modern styled rooms, beautifully clean. Comfortable bed, clean modern bathroom and kitchenette, modern aircon. Gorgeous grounds and pools. Continental breakfast was brilliant.
Only downside- check-in closes at 5pm- this wasn't made clear at booking. Staff still facilitated our arrival so no complaint, just be mindful
Second - note the restaurant is not open Sundays- closest food options are a 7km round trip on foot. Not a nice surprise after being dropped off without a car. Thankfully the Big Pub ran a shuttle bus by request.
